Becoming Fit and Toned
Ive fallen off the healthy train, but tomorrow I restart.

I have my last final, then I will head straight to the gym for cardio, plus legs and abs.

Food plan for 5/9:

-Breakfast: oatmeal with two eggs, strawberries

-post-workout: protein shake (powder, banana, almond milk, ice)

-lunch: vanilla chobani,sandwich (pepperjack cheese, avocado, tomato, lettuce, whole wheat bread), carrots and salsa

-snack: apple or orange, celery and hummus

-dinner: spaghetti squash, cottage cheese, spaghetti sauce, parmesan, sriracha

WOOO healthy day.

THANKS TUMBLR FOR THE HEALTHY THOUGHTS!

I have been finding myself having unhealthy thoughts about my eating habits and body image. Today I was looking at a magazine at work and people from the biggest loser were in it. There was a woman who was my height and weight. She was healthy looking, but much bigger than I picture myself. Yes I know muscle and body composition play a huge role, but I couldnt help but thinking “I look like THAT, I need to do cardio for an hour today and probably just have just a salad for dinner.” NO NO NO. I got on tumblr and now I feel much better. Instead I am going to have a leg strength workout and do cardio for 30 minutes. I will be eating a salad with shrimp on it and some roasted green beans. Waiting an hour to work out and then have cottage cheese with tomato after.

This is just one instance, but It has happened a lot lately. Tumblr has helped me with a healthier mindset.

i JUST had a major binge. I tried to purge, but i didn’t know how. I felt so guilty about eating so much, I have never attempted something like this. My cycle of binging needs to stop. I dont know how to stop it. I didnt even want the food, I just ate it without thinking. I have a problem with food. I have always been an all or nothing personality, and this goes with everything in my life. Im either extreme healthy or extremely huge quantities. I dont know how to fix it.

Tomorrow’s plan:


-Work: 8-3

-Gym: legs+cardio

-Grocery store

-Bake protein bars and possibly granola?

-CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN

I havent posted in a while. I have been slightly embarrassed by my nightly binges as I avoid studying. I have still been having good consistent workouts. No weight has been gained and most nights I am still within my caloric range. (always less than 2000) But still they are unnecessary calories. 

Now that I am on Spring Break, I plan to get back on track with my eating.

Time for a nice hilly run!

TODAY WAS NOT GOOD.

At work, It was teacher appreciation day so the parents bring in a bunch of goodies, mainly baked goods. I gave up chocolate for lent, so I thought no biggie Ill be okay. Every time I left the room I ate something that led to 1 donut, 5 oatmeal raisin cookies, a cup of white cheddar popcorn, and a piece of cinnamon swirl cake.

THAT’S NOT NORMAL. All I wanted was chocolate, so clearly it ended badly. Therefore, I am giving up all sweets/baked goods for lent.
